Noble Friends,

The Grow Your Own Farm-to-Table campaign was a total success!!!! We raised $10,770, with another $1,000 and change pledged. That makes it possible to even build an iPhone application if grassroots folks want it!!! I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. So many of you responded with such generosity. So many of you helped by sharing and encouraging me. THANK YOU!!!

The merciless spambot that possessed my body has departed, and Jeremy John, humble author and web developer has returned. Now I shrink from posting on Facebook, preferring to lurk. I will no longer have to beat my social anxiety down with a stick in order to ask my friends and family for money, shamelessly liking my own posts and offering my firstborn child's flesh to the tattoo needle. A madness took me.

But the malevolent donors were defeated! Zeke's future is no longer under threat. And a small company of diversely-talented and mixed-race individuals are embarking on a foolish quest to cast the one ring into the pit of doom. If you have any variously enchanted hereditary weaponry, or maps of a route through the mountains surrounding Mordor, please send me a Facebook message. Sauron is still gathering his forces to conquer us and plunge us into apathy and consumption.

But now, thanks to my amazing community, there is hope!

Hi. My name is Jeremiah John. I'm a sf/f writer and activist.

I just completed a dystopian science fiction novel. I run a website which I created that connects farms with churches, mosques, and synagogues to buy fresh vegetables directly and distribute them on a sliding scale to those in need.

In 2003, I spent six months in prison for civil disobedience while working to close the School of the Americas, converting to Christianity, as one does, while I was in the clink.
